Wax Patrol After last week’s calm before the storm, Doom Patrol returns for a somewhat underwhelming and disappointing season finale. With no word on a third season yet and nothing really resolved at the end, Doom Patrol’s fate hangs in the balance going forward. While still enjoyable, there’s an undeniable feel that this season just hasn’t had the same allure and charisma the first season had in abundance. While still funny and boasting some memorable moments, this season has paled by comparison....

Getting the fundamentals right and then letting your experience carry you through is paramount. Becoming better at what you do takes determination, but fraying at the edges will always happen, it’s a fact. Californian band Papa Roach haven’t only frayed at the edges, they’ve fallen apart with their record Ego Trip. The album isn’t the band’s finest hour, that’s for sure, and it seems they’ve chosen to implement too much of a slant; a gear that has stuck, And that’s a shame as we have seen the band release quality in the past....

Frozen Free Fall: Snowball fight describes itself as a game which will turn your living room into an epic puzzle matching battle. It sadly doesn’t live up to those lofty claims, borrowing heavily the best and worst elements of games like Candy Crush and Bejewelled, wrapping it up in a Frozen skin complete with different abilities and 195 challenging levels to get through. Of course, being a free to play game micro-transactions do rear their ugly head and can be tedious if you play extensively, once the extra lives and special movies dry up, its hard to ignore the obvious ploy to make money at play here....

At the same time, Elliot takes his opportunity to see Shannon without Sean knowing. Ed confronts him though and tells Elliot he doesn’t trust him and that he should leave. Elliot complies and drops off the key on the coffee table before leaving. Ed visits Jevan who’s determined to find Sean....

So ‘Get Out’ is one of those films that seems to have come from nowhere and is currently receiving rave reviews from critics and our American cousins across the pond. So, is this thriller/horror worth its weight in gold? Having just watched it, I can’t help but feel this film, built on its uneasy racial tensions where it explores issues like slavery and paranoia, is more narratively accurate for the state of America right now compared to the rest of the world....
