Set during the Spanish Civil War, Netflix’s latest Spanish romp combines comedy and horror together, walking a tightrope between both states – which it pulls off rather well. The story never falls into the realm of outright comedy like something akin to Shaun of the Dead, while it doesn’t go all-in on its horror like the fantastic Train to Busan....

Manchester band Waco mixes together an array of sounds to create a string of well-developed songs. The immediate genre is punk rock with sneers for good measure, and then we’re taken to a fuzzy backdrop where everything is colourful and calm. Though this is true, the band also feels downtrodden at times, and their lyrics reflect this. Sometimes the lyrical content bares all, but it doesn’t kill the vibes. Rock Spirit Absolute Joy is punk personified, and the act knows how to construct riffs that compels to the point where good times are on the horizon, though the band still feels the strain of a crisis....

Wanda decides to take a whole day to herself, only all the items inside the house are inexplicably glitching out. Could this be a consequence of expanding out the field? The show has a lot promise with plenty of emotional moments, humour and interesting characters too. Metanoia Episode 7 of Westworld begins with Bernard and Maeve arriving at the foot of that large dam we saw at the start of season 4. Bernard is quick to point out this place is not what it seems. Dolores is the one who chose the dam originally, needing the hydroelectric server farm; a place to house the infinite – at least according to Bernard anyway. Hale was just a front, keeping a watchful eye on the servers but unable to access what’s inside....

Thankfully the one element of the show that’s remained consistent throughout its run is the musical score. With the excellent Ramin Djawadi in the driving seat, the third season brings with it a much more varied range of instrumental pieces, utilizing everything from vinyl scratches and pulsating drums through to low, growling basslines and futuristic sci-fi effects....

The story carries on building the characters up quite well with the usual tropes found in Korean Dramas, but there is still enough mystery to keep things intriguing.
