Happily Ever After Dinner Mate hasn’t always had the smoothest rides and the middle portion of this series in particular has really suffered from some tonally confusing melodrama. Having said that though, the final two episodes bring everything back to those feel-good vibes, rounding things out with a lovely conclusion and a satisfying finish for every character. The season finale of Dinner Mate begins with Hae-Kyung feeling pain in his ribs midway through kissing Do-Hee....

Night and Dreams Episode 5 of Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol begins with Joon pleading with Ra-Ra not to go, eventually composing himself to tell her not to say goodbye. When she leaves, he sits on the end of the bed thoughtfully. Ra-Ra meanwhile heads home but has second thoughts when she reaches the seaside. Instead, she decides to head back where she spies Joon playing the guitar....

Raffrenando, Controlling One’s Pace We begin episode 6 of Do You Like Brahms at the Kyunghoo Cultural Foundation Young Artist Audition. Professor Jung and Professor Lee are both unable to attend thanks to a big scandal. It turns out they’ve been having an affair with one another. Meanwhile, Jung-Hee gets in Song-A’s good books solely to further her own career and better her chamber prospects. Unbeknown to Song-A though, she graciously accepts the offer....

The Vanquishers Episode 6 of Doctor Who: Flux begins with the Doctor calling upon the Ood to try and find her TARDIS. However, Azure and Swarm have other plans. Both of them approach the Doctor and, after touching her, somehow manages to fracture her mind into several different pieces. This allows the Doctor to quite literally be in more than one place at once. Meanwhile, super Yaz manages to take out the impending Sontarans, courtesy of a quick grappling hook, opening up a door which sends ripples of lightning out that just so happens to hit their probic vents....

All Talk, No Action When it comes to horror films, the two creepiest tropes are usually the most over-used. Between unsettling children and murderous dolls, a plethora of horror films have dived into both of these ideas with varying degrees of success. Dolls is an interesting Indie title in that respect because it does have some original ideas and executes them reasonably well. The plot builds nicely and there’s just enough mystery and intrigue to keep you watching until the end....

Meanwhile, Lady Mary is left to hold the fort down at home, as those at Downton experience an entirely new phenomenon: the making of a movie. Does Lady Grantham inherit a French villa?...

This is not taken lightly by all accused parties, including the CIA and the Colombian army. The General no longer entertains Prince and Bambi’s requests to be involved with the mission. Also, the mission the army was planning has now gone fruitless owing to Prince’s antics on television....

The Blackout Party Episode 5 of Elite Season 3 begins with Valerio starting to hustle with Rebeca, selling drugs while at night cozying up to Polo and Cayetana. Meanwhile, Omar confronts Malick over the lie he’s been leading and after having a drink poured on him at work, decides to back off Omar for now. He returns home to Ander and as he runs his hands through his boyfriend’s hair, winds up pulling out clumps in the process....

There’s elements of Riverdale, Gossip Girl and 13 Reasons Why here but unlike those shows, Elite fails to really inspire likability with its large cast and in doing so, makes much of the story play out far more passively than it should....

Based on a true story, Escape At Dannemora is a valiant effort at dethroning that season, one that mixes compelling performances from its lead actors with impressive camera work and cinematography. While this 7 part mini-series makes for an enthralling watch, at times the slow pace does hold the series back from being more exciting....

This makes the mainstream news too, which Woo Young-Woo and her father end up seeing....

News breaks of the incident at the train station, with Fatma clearly rattled by what she’s seen. She doesn’t even try to disguise her guilt, as little Serra looks at her with a knowing glance. Fatma eventually leaves to head home. On the way, she bumps into her eccentric sister, Mine....

A Promising Start Fear The Walking Dead has had a pretty strange run since it came onto air. Its quality has dipped and peaked, with the excellent third season’s flames extinguished by a lacklustre fourth. After a year hiatus Fear The Walking Dead returns with a promising start to Season 5, boasting glimmers of promise in the midst of non-stop zombie action. We begin with a plane crash which whips past two boys who manage to shoot a deer but see their gun seize up when confronted by a walker....

The others have suffered immensely but in order to survive, the group band together and decide to try and take Strand’s Tower by force, determined to continue looking for Padre, a mythical place no one is sure exists. Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) is now the leader to Teddy (John Glover)’s followers but also consumed by a mysterious illness and the repercussions of her actions. Meanwhile, Morgan (Lennie James) maintains hope of being reunited with his family....
