A Visually Impressive Animation Netflix’s latest animated flick Next Gen is an incredibly good looking film. Realistic reflections, impressive water and hair particles as well as some really awe-inspiring sci-fi imagery combine to make Next Gen one of the best looking animations to come out in quite some time. Combined with a morally sound narrative and some talented voice acting, Next Gen is certainly a pleasant surprise, even if it does slip up slightly with its core characterisation....

However, Atria gets more annoyed over the Adari Leader whose scheduled to host a talk at the school, prompting Jax and Atria to show up and begin striking. We then see a questionable cult segment using the words “Praise Be” that’s more than a little similar to The Handmaid’s Tale....

Right & Wrong Set in the heart of the Vietnam War, Point Man is a decidedly character-driven film, focusing much more on the horrors involving the American soldiers rather than the overarching conflict in Vietnam. While the film itself does bring up some thought provoking themes around prejudice, racism and war crimes, the low budget and slightly wooden acting does hold this one back from being a more polished title....

Olympus Reality Z is basically a remake of 2008’s Dead Set but situated in Brazil. For that alone, this zombie series certainly loses points for originality but the sun-soaked location of South America, coupled with a few intriguing characters, may be enough to salvage this one. For now though, the reanimated corpse of Dead Set has a brand new pair of lungs and a story that could deviate from its source material in the episodes to come....
