With a glut of Marvel films dealing with end of the world clichés, Deadpool is the perfect answer to freshen the stale formula. Whilst its origin story is every bit as formulaic as other heroes, where Deadpool shines after his awful treatment in X-Men Origins is the authenticity given to the character. Breaking the fourth wall, firing genuinely funny one liners and with bags of charisma from a role Ryan Reynolds seems destined to play, the first R rated Marvel hit since Punisher earns its rating in spectacular fashion....
Supernova Episode 6 of Debris begins with an ominous debris case out in the woods, involving three skeletal figures and a group of teenagers. Meanwhile, Finola and Bryan jet off but the family video Finola watched last episode continues to play on her mind. Eventually though, the pair arrive down by the docks for their next assignment. It turns out 4 or 5 teenagers were seen lurking about. The debris piece in the surrounding area seems to have emitted some sort of energy signature to suck the lifeforce out of these dead bodies....

You’ll Either Love or Loathe This Stand-Up Felipe Esparza is not going to be for everyone. Much like Marmite, this is a stand-up comedian you’ll either love or hate. With some dark jokes and a juxtaposing jovial tone, this is a comic that has a very distinct and polarizing style. If this is your first time seeing Felipe Esparza, this isn’t his first rodeo. After his 2 stand-up specials in 2012 and 2017, Esparza’s style has matured to blend real-life experiences with exaggerated mannerisms; a buzzy, anxious style on stage that’s quite distracting but one you eventually warm to....
A Thematically Strong But Overly Familiar Family Feature Ferdinand presents itself as another generic animated family feature and for the most part, it happily treads this familiar ground. Although most of the humour misses the mark and the story plays out in a formulaic manner, Ferdinand’s big thematic undertone helps it stand out from the plethora of other animated titles out there. Depicting the lives of Spanish fighter bulls, Ferdinand tells the story of a peaceful Bull who refuses to engage in violence, instead choosing to admire the beauty of life and wishing more from his existence than senseless violence....
