Scavenger Hunt As we pass the halfway point of Apple+’s fantasy epic See, the story begins to take shape as we’re offered a nice twist at the end and a little more character development. Beyond that though, there really isn’t an awful lot else going on here, with no consequences to the dam breaking for now and little action to savour, save for the final few minutes of the season. With the machinery switched off and the dam ready to burst, episode 5 begins with Queen Kane whispering her goodbyes to a statue of her Father....
The Witchfinder Episode 4 of See Season 2 begins with Maghra bathing while Kane continues to spit her venomous words around her sister. With the upcoming marriage ceremony, Kane reminds her that she needs to play her part to convince everyone in Pennsa she’s in love. Out in the wilderness, Baba Voss and Haniwa continue on to Pennsa, reflecting on what’s transpired so far. Tamcti and Paris wind up talking too, with the former well-aware of what lies in store for him at Pennsa....
Following on from the success of Despicable Me, and the lukewarm acclaim of Secret Life Of Pets and Minions, Sing is the next animal-heavy animation from Illumination Studios. Although the film doesn’t quite hit all the right notes, there’s some good ideas here and its frustrating to see, once again, a cohesive solid plot is the Studio’s biggest downfall. Daughter Much like Star Wars, Star Trek is a series with a die-hard fan-base that’s had a hard time replicating what made the show so appealing and amazing all those years ago.
