Elliot The Eddy is a uniquely stylized series that certainly won’t be for everyone. Those looking for the glitz and glamorous shine of Damien Chazelle’s previous efforts La La Land and Whiplash will almost certainly be left disappointed here. If you can take to the rustic, gritty quality of this show that gives the impression of it being filmed as an Indie but with the production design and acting of a professional set-up, there’s certainly a lot to like about this one....

Mr Nightfall Returning for another week, The InBetween delivers one of its best episodes of the season, with a well written plot line and a nice little twist at the end. The episode itself begins with Cassie experiencing another vision, this time of being thrown into a coffin and buried alive – a scene made all the more terrifying by a strange hooded figure. Meanwhile Damien and Tom head to a gruesome crime scene and wind up interviewing a man who tells them a kid called Michael is the one they should be looking into, as he’s the one with a suspicious background....

The Truth About Olivia Episode 5 of The Innocent Season 1 is fantastic. It’s easily the best episode of the season and here we actually get some substantial answers to the burning questions this season. For the purposes of this recap and going forward, we’ll just refer to Candance as Olivia. Anyway, meeting Mat happens to be a chance encounter, especially given he’s furloughed from prison at the time. The two hit it off too, at least to begin with....

Side Quest Received – Destination: Tatooine The Mandalorian is the perfect example of a show that starts strongly and fizzles out as the weeks have gone by. While I understand that The Mandalorian is a show primarily aimed at families and sticks closely to the episodic, case-of-the-week feel that late 90’s sci-fi achieved, I can’t help but shake the feeling that some of this material is wasting time. I’m usually quite forgiving of shows doing this and I’m sure The Mandalorian will bow things out with a dramatic finale but the past few episodes have just felt like filler and the rigid structure each adhere to is not helping....

Su-Ryeon is shocked to find out she was adopted in the States and scrambles back to the Palace....
