Treason With things calm between our three protagonists for now, episode 5 of Barbarians begins with Folkwin eventually agreeing to entertain the wedding proposal idea. Given it could bring the tribes together, Thusnelda and Ari ride together into the village. There, Segestes is silenced by Thusnelda presenting Ari to her parents. Atop a tree hung with red ribbons, Arminius and Thusnelda are wed while Folkwin watches from afar. The wedding presents come thick and fast, with Ari’s army growing thanks to pledges from the various tribe leaders....

Bubbling Emotions Beautiful Love offers up a much better episode this week, picking up the pace and giving us more story development which should lead to a dramatic reveal when everyone finds out who Cheong-Ah is. We start with Joon-Hwi visiting Kim-Baek at the hospital. He shows him Cheong-Ah in the corner of the room dressed as Mr Lightning and as he takes her away forcibly, she tells him that it was all a misunderstanding and she’s in fact a woman....

The Break-Up After finally getting some happiness in her life, Cheong-Ah is heading for more heartache in the latest episode of Beautiful love, Wonderful Life. We also see Joon-Hwi torn during most of the hour as he debates what to do with his newfound love. This was quite emotional to watch and promises to give us more dramatic chapters for the next few weeks. We begin where we left off with Joon-Hwi confronting his cousin about inviting him to dinner....

The Violent Crimes Department catch wind and happen to be the ones to hastily arrest the man. With reporters desperate to catch a glimpse of him, Ji-Hwa tries to bring Dong-Sik in while avoiding suspicions....

To Deceive Episode 6 of Beyond Evil begins with Jin-Mook making food and showing up at the police station while counting. Ji-Hwa shows to greet him though, taking the kimchi from the man while he walks away. At the substation he does the same thing, droppin off kimchi for them and counting. Ji-Hoon struggles to hold back tears as Jin-Mook leaves. It turns out his counting is actually do with the number of people he’s met – deliberating hinting that he’s trying to give himself an alibi over his actions....

Find Biohackers Season 2 episode 5 starts with Jasper confronting Wolfgang about what Mia is doing. He also mentions the red notebook too warning that Mia knows what’s up. Unbeknownst to Wolfgang though, Mia happens to be hiding outside. She slips past the lackluster security and finds the secret lab, courtesy of an elevator down. While she investigates, Lotta starts to suspect something is up and rings Jasper. He predictably ignores the call, instead quizzing Wolfgang about his research....

The Contract The latest episode of Black Dog sees Ha-Neul facing yet another obstacle, this time regarding the length of her contract. Things are certainly difficult for short-term teachers and while Ha-Neul tries to do her best for the students, this makes her feel like she shouldn’t be making so much effort. Black Dog continues to feel slow-paced but to counteract that, tackles some interesting subjects, as well as exploring the evolution between Ha-Neul and her three colleagues, which continues to be enjoyable to watch....

The Banana Incident Black Dog returns this week with a slower episode as it concentrates on the exam questions the teachers have to submit. This drama certianly takes its time settling into its groove but thankfully the second half of this one picks up the pace and ends things with an intriguing and surprising cliffhanger. We begin with Hae-Won asking what he will take the fall for. Mr Do leaves so Ha-Neul tells him she needs to talk about the exam questions....
