Red, Red Wine I’m really starting to enjoy Love With Flaws. Although the misunderstanding trope is a little overused in this genre and the entire comedy angle hinders on utilizing this to its fullest, Love With Flaws is a charming, taboo rom-com nonetheless and after this week, certainly sets things up for some hilarious moments going forward. Following the embarrasing incident with Kang, the episode begins with him picking Seo-Yeon up and dumping her outside before sticking his head in the fridge and bemoaning his luck....
Lovers Of The Red Sky Episode 16 of Lovers of the Red Sky begins this finale with Cheon-Ki painting the royal portrait. With wisps of green smoke radiating from her, she continues to paint. She’s also ever-more aware that Ha-Ram is going to show up at the Sealing Ceremony. Yangmyung is there to check up on them though, informing the painters that they have 4 hours to go. He then enlists the help of Mi-Soo to seal the door while they work....
As for Cal, he’s taken to the doctors where he learns he has cancer. In order to get his mind off things, he’s encouraged to go out and live his life. And so he does just that and goes on a date. He heads out with Violet, one of the women they saved back with Adrian. The date goes okay, where Cal reveals his true identity to her later on....
Sacrament Episode 7 of Mare of Easttown begins with Jess admitting that she burnt Erin’s journals because she believed this is what Erin would have wanted. She was just trying to honour her friend. While everyone frantically tries to contact Mare, down by the docks John holds the gun up to his brother and contemplates whether to fire. The two wrestle, with Billy pleading with him to pull the trigger. Mare shows up just before he does, serving as a distraction as the two brothers fight....
Camping and Waiting Episode 5 of Messiah starts with various people being interviewed about Al-Masih before we cut to Eva waking up to a very busy motel, full of people desperate to meet Al-Masih. We then see just how many people have turned up as hundreds of tents and caravans have been set around Felix’s church. One of the women from the interviews, Staci, arrives with her daughter who is suffering from cancer, looking for a miracle....
The President We begin episode 8 of Messiah with Al-Masih meeting with the President of the United States who asks him what he actually wants. After a short speech about war and the possibility of world peace, Al Masih asks the president to withdraw all American soldiers from all countries; that way he will be remembered as the President of peace. The president calls him naive as some of the troops are there for peacekeeping and removing them would spell disaster....

Sheriff Hassan directs traffic, keeping the residents away from the beach for the time being. Hassan takes control of the situation, deciding they need to burn the deceased cats to avoid any sort of disease from spreading. Ed agrees, although there’s undoubtedly an air of uneasiness surrounding this entire event. While Riley attends therapy, Father Paul conducts another sermon and does the rounds, trying to fill in Monsignor Pruitt’s big shoes....
Who Killed Ji-Yong? Episode 12 of Mine begins with Ji-Yong reeling from Hi-Soo’s bombshell reveal. The divorce is on and Hi-Soo wastes little time telling him she’s going to raise Ha-Joon by herself. However, Ji-Yong immediately uses the might of Hyowon Group to put pressure on TV stations to shut out Hi-Soo and prevent her from appearing on-air. Jin-Ho learns the truth about Ji-Yong’s fights though and confronts him in his office....
A thriller about a gunman holding a live news broadcast to ransom, Money Monster is an intense, tension soaked thriller that starts strongly and despite a weaker second half, does a good job of sustaining its momentum as a decent thriller. It feels like it takes inspiration from films like Phonebooth with its tense situation and gunman but it has enough differences to set it apart as a good, albeit not great, thriller....
Greed and Envy Episode 2 of Move to Heaven cuts back in time as we see Geu-Roo’s Uncle, Sang-Koo, leaving the correctional facility. Lawyer Oh shows up and informs him his brother has passed away, leading Sang-Koo to chuckle and actually be grateful of his death. Within his will, Jeong-Yoo has named Sang-Koo to be Geu-Roo’s legal guardian. He’s not aware of Geu-Roo’s condition and eventually turns and walks away. He heads to a local bar where cage-fighting takes place in the back....
Craig is glad to read to Harrigan because he values the old man’s company but their relationship is cut short when the old man dies a few years later. Craig is understandably distraught by his friend’s death but to remain connected to him, he messages Harrigan’s phone, which is buried with him in his coffin. The grief-stricken teen doesn’t expect to get an answer from Harrigan – the guy is dead, after all – but when he starts getting cryptic texts from Harrigan’s phone, he realises the old man is reaching out to him from beyond the grave....

However, they’re not exactly enthralled given these games are notorious for being stuffed with microtransactions. Anyway, they’re eventually put on the development team with Jo overseeing them. Coming up with ideas in the studio, they liken Jo to a grouchy goat… and that’s their idea! Grouchy Goat is green-lit and they begin working on fleshing out this concept....

Across 4 season we’ve seen Max and his team working tirelessly and now, season 5 marks the end of an era given this will be the show’s final instalment....

Good Drama, Lacklustre Horror While Our House fails to establish itself as a particularly scary or gripping horror film, it does work quite well as a drama with light horror elements. With a strong thematic core and a pretty likeable group of characters, Our House works surprisingly well to establish a fractured family dynamic dealing with loss and grief. Beyond this dramatic element though, there really isn’t anything noteworthy here that hasn’t been done better elsewhere although the lack of jump scares is a welcome change of pace....
