Whether it be The Time Machine, Terminator or the fantastic 12 Monkeys TV series, this medium continues to throw up constant surprises and well written scenarios for us to ponder over. Excursion is the latest film to showcase its time travel prowess with a tight-knit plot and a methodical pacing to boot. While some will inevitably be put off by the cheap budget and lack of special effects or polish, the actual story content is pretty good, even if it is a little rough around the edges....

A slick summer camp slasher I must confess, I wasn’t a massive fan of Fear Street 1994. The movie felt tonally jarring, the 90’s references were crowbarred in and the plot felt like it should have been tailored for a younger audience but with an unnecessary 18 rating attached to it. Going into Part 2 I didn’t have a lot of faith. Boy, was I proven wrong. Fear Street: Part Two (aptly titled 1978) feels a lot more consistent in its tone and ideas, managing to pay tribute to slashers of the past while developing the lore and ideas of part one in a much more consistent way....
Secrets Spilled Flower Of Evil returns for a slightly slower episode this time around. That’s not to say the show’s backing down on its drama though, which comes out in full force this time.
