With the truth now out about Hae-Kyung, and Jae-Hyeok’s mental issues starting to dome to the foreground, Dinner Mate ramps up the emotion but with it, manages to dispel this somewhat with a lovely parody of Crash Landing On You toward the end of the episode....

Destiny Following the previous hour of drama, Dinner Mate returns for another good episode, one that helps push our characters forward while showing just how much they’ve changed since their previous relationships that dominated their past. With some nice juxtapositions between the two and a consistent theme surrounding destiny and the two fated to constantly meet, Dinner Mate continues to deliver a really fun and engaging Korean drama. Episodes 7 and 8 of Dinner Mate begins with Do-Hee and Hae-Kyung heading out for dinner together where she asks what he believes people think they are....

War of the Sontarans Episode 2 of Doctor Who Season 13 is a massive step-up for The Flux storyline after a messy, chaotic opener. There’s much better pacing and some genuinely menacing Sontarans. Is Doctor Who back on track? Following the Flux event at the end of the previous episode, The Doctor awakens to find herself with Dan and Yaz thrown out the Tardis on a planet littered with bodies and rubble....

Kids Don’t Come With Instructions Episode 1 of Dom Season 1 begins in Rio de Janeiro 1999. We’re at the Tabajaras Favela in Copacabana where pulsating music and dancing erupt in the streets. Pedro Dom snorts lines before telling a girl they match. As he pours cocaine on her chest, he begins snorting it. We then cut across to Pedro’s Father, Victor Dantas, who tries desperately to find Pedro. He immediately heads down to the favela, demanding to see his son....

Episode 16 of Doom at Your Service begins this finale with Myul-Mang back on Earth and mortal this time. He stands with his umbrella and admits he can’t control the weather anymore. Back home, Dong-Kyung learns that Myul-Mang was allowed to be born again because he died for her selflessly. He no longer brings doom and can live a normal life. Dong-Kung can hardly believe her luck and believes all of this is just a dream....

A surprisingly audacious film, Dough tackles an interesting undertone of racism, cultural acceptance and drugs in a lighthearted comedy with a sprinkling of drama. When it focuses on the challenging questions it asks about society it works really well, challenging the usual tropes associated with drugs in particular. Unfortunately, there’s no denying that the generic story with its bland, villainous bad guy and rushed climax, just never feels like anything other than average....

A Thousand Little Trees of Blood Episode 6 of Euphoria Season 2 starts with Rue back home, handling a jolly rancher and breathing deeply. She’s got withdrawal symptoms, but Leslie is there to help for the time being. At least until a bed is available at the rehab center. Unfortunately, there’s a solid week before that happens, meaning Rue is going to have to try and weather the storm back home....

The next morning, Phoebe has her brother Jayden on her podcast, Everything’s Trash. The podcast is generally pretty risqué, including a lot of details about Phoebe’s sex life. Today, Phoebe and her producer Malika only slightly clean it up for their guest. Jayden is on the show to talk about his candidacy for Brooklyn’s District 52 State Representative. While celebrating Jayden’s guest appearance that night, Phoebe flirts with a man named Hamilton at the bar....

The Four Flowers Episode 7 of F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers (YouTube, GMMTV, Viu) returns us to the scene of the crime as Thyme observes Gorya and Ren’s embrace. Thyme then overhears a kid boasting about playing someone and lets all his anger loose. Ren and Gorya reach the scene and in front of the crowd, Thyme denounces Ren saying F4 will now be F3. Gorya tries to intervene but he pushes her phone into her hands by way of explanation....

The Threat Family Business returns for another comedic slice of family drama as the series continues its march through this solid first season. The episode itself starts with the police searching the truck but only finding meat. After the police leave, the grandma tells them that she has hidden the cannabis seeds inside the carcasses. Back in France, they calculate that they could make 2.5 million so they all decide on their respective roles....
