As Kiyomi listens to Toshiki wail, she looks up and sees the same strange woman in white she’s been cursed with all her life....

Netflix Original Kidnap is a fast paced action thriller that ignores logic and characterisation for messily shot action that rarely thrills. Unfortunately, even Halle Berry’s exasperated, stressed acting as overworked mum Karla can’t save this film which fails to be anything but a poor action flick....

A Rainbow In Beige Boots Episode 3 of Killing Eve Season 4 starts with Villanelle working as a maid in a hotel. And if you weren’t sure who Villanelle is, this episode starts with a massive block of text reading VILLANELLE. Thanks BBC. This is a trend throughout the episode though, and I’m not sure if it’s intentional or not but as we skip around the different characters, every time this pops up it feels really condescending, like we couldn’t figure out who Eve, Carolyn or any of the other characters are....

We Are Legion After last week’s impressive episode featuring the time demons, Legion returns to see David launch his counter-offensive. With David and Farouk both flirting with the idea of a final showdown, the episode gives us teasing glimpses of what could be to come in the second half of Legion’s final season. Like a wolf chasing rabbits, David is not messing around. He launches a counter offensive after Switch has been taken and destroys a ground convoy....

Heartbreaking Life Overtakes Me is a difficult documentary to watch. Depicting the struggles of families dealing with a condition known as Resignation Syndrome, this short, 40 minute film feels unusually bloated at times, with numerous lingering shots of the forest, snowy landscape and scenes that linger a little too long making for a relatively uncomfortable watch. Still, the film does well to raise awareness for a condition I had no clue over and makes for pretty heartbreaking viewing at times....

The Final The season 1 finale of Little Birds begins in the morning, as Hugo and Lucy finally work together to catch the traitor in the act. That traitor, of course, being Grant. Lucy arrives at the Secretary’s estate and informs him that Grant has arrived. As they talk business, Vaney invites them to dinner. Lucy feigns a smile and tells her she’d be delighted to meet him. When she arrives back at the bar, she feeds back the news to Hugo and Bill, reminding them both not to lose their nerve....

Chapter 12 Chuchu fakes an injury, spouting that Xiao’En pushed her as episode 12 of Lost Romance begins. Aoran says that Xiao’En isn’t like that and that there must be a misunderstanding. The other women are keen to blame Xiao’En and sympathize with Chuchu, shouting for an apology. Aoran tries to downplay it but proposes Xiao’En ask for forgiveness. She slaps Chuchu hard, says sorry, then runs away. Aoran follows while her friends try to defend her but Chuchu continues to play it up....

The Three Meetings Episode 10 of Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce) begins with that incident surrounding Seo-Ban. We’re still 10 months back and it turns out Seo-Ban is not actually in a relationship with Ga-Bin after all. Anyway, he steps outside where Hye-Ryung happens to be. She approaches Seo-Ban but Sa-Hyun once again takes her away, apologizing. Meanwhile, Yu-Shin continues to play the husband despite his growing affection toward A-Mi....

While that sounds like a bit of an oxymoron, that’s because it is. The main drama here stems from three couples split across three different age groups. All three men are cheating on their respective partners. After breaking up and making peace with what’s happened, this rabble of characters find themselves faced with life, love, loss and ghost Ki-Rim kicking about too....

It’s one of the bigger shows from 2018/2019 I just didn’t get around to watching and with all 16 episodes ready to binge, I thought I’d take the plunge....

The Icy Wedding We’re two weeks away from the finale and if you thought the penultimate episode to this second season would start answering those big questions – think again. Instead, Manifest busies itself with Zeke and Michaela’s wedding while building up yet another central antagonist in the form of the three drug dealers that appeared last episode. While there is thankfully a little movement with the Major and the ending sets things up nicely for an exciting, climactic finale, it seems Manifest is not ready to divulge its biggest secrets just yet....
