Mi-Jeong brings up her mother passing, and admits she’s been waiting for him to call. But yet, it’s ironic that he should show up when she’s least expecting it. In the midst of this, there’s a really nice narrative about irritating people can be too, which the pair connect over....

Returns Episode 8 of Panic Season 1 begins with the theme of secrets. Specifically, a brief overview of all the different secrets that apparently end with two teens in love committing suicide. At least, that’s what the narration leads us to believe anyway. Is this an ominous bit of foreshadowing or specifically referencing last year’s events? Either way, this paves way for Bishop and Heather finally connecting. Heather shows Bishop the betting slips but he believes Ray and Luke are in on this together....

Better The Devil You Know After a week’s hiatus, Pennyworth returns with another episode, this time diving deeper into the mystery surrounding Aleister Crowley and just what happened to Martha during her time with him. The rest of the subplots do progress at an okay pace but the episode itself feels somewhat transitional, one that lays the foundation for the final act whilst moving our characters in their respective places ready for this to begin....

Exorcise this horror from memory immediately Prey for the Devil should have been renamed Prey For The Audience, because after watching this snooze fest you’ll be wondering why you spent 90 minutes with it. There are promising glimmers of a better film here, boasting some pretty gnarly and violent imagery, but beyond that there’s very little here to stand out. Ideas like loneliness, grief, longing and forgiveness have long been staples of the horror genre but Prey For The Devil does absolutely nothing new or interesting with this, instead molding everything into a patchwork of mundane mediocrity....
