A Perfect Tribute To The Purple Dragon After the financial success of the Crash Bandicoot remake it was almost inevitable that a slew of studios would follow suit and recreate other iconic classics. With Medievil and Resident Evil 2 looming on the horizon, Activision’s Spyro Trilogy was met with some criticism over delays and controversial downloads before its release. Thankfully, the game (or games as the case may be!) is another sure-fire hit, keeping everything intact that made the originals so endearing with enough of a graphical upgrade to make it worth the extra cash....
Narek’s Betrayal Star Trek: Picard has been a real rollercoaster this year. Much like Doctor Who, Picard’s quality has dipped and peaked, bringing with it some of the best and worst of the franchise while settling into a somewhat mediocre and forgettable rhythm. Home The Season 1 finale of Tales From The Loop attempts to wrap everything up with a neat little bow but in doing so, leaves plenty of threads dangling over this topsy turvy season. On the one hand, the ensuing drama and issues with the tight-knit characters at the centre of this one (Loretta, Cole, Danny and Jakob) get a good enough send-off but everyone else gets a pretty underwhelming finish....
A Surprisingly Well Written Sci-Fi Flick Anyone who knows me will tell you there’s two types of film I have a real soft spot for – escape rooms and minimalistic sci-fi. What better film to watch then than Björn Engström’s Tangent Room which combines the both. The Voice Phishing Case Episode 9 of Taxi Driver begins with Go Eun and Do-Ki finishing the U Data case and walking away. While they do, Do-Chul stabs Sung-Chul. He’s stopped from hitting the killing blow though, as Chairman Baek arrives with her right-hand man. He effortlessly takes out Do-Chul with a sleeper hold. This cliffhanger is resolved with Baek taking the unconscious man back to his cell while Sung-Chul is raced to hospital....
