Mira sits in the lobby of her hotel as she notices a woman walk in. There’s something about her that intrigues Mira. Mind you, she is still wearing Irma’s silk suit beneath her coat. That might have something to do with what she does next....
Kneeling Down The penultimate episode of Itaewon Class sees some of the sub-plots we’ve seen developing over time resolved while the entire narrative is dominated by Sae-Rae-Yo in a hallucinogenic state while our protagonists remain captured. A good portion of this episode is dominated by these two plots, and although the story doesn’t move forward an awful lot, it does offer up a solid amount of dramatic and emotional tension in the process....
Almeria Episode 4 of Jaguar starts with our gang on the cusp of Almeria, preparing to find Heim. Now, Isabel has history with this guy given she used to be a housemaid for him during the war. We’ve seen these glimmers throughout the series but here it collates together into something tangible. It also helps to show how deep these wounds go for our protagonist. The first step though is to decode the letter they found....

The story centers on Gong Soo-Gwang, a fishmonger at the market. He’s well-known for being unlucky in life and as such, everyone avoids him. But it didn’t used to be that way. Once upon a time, he had a bright future, which involved Seul-Bi. Ironically though, since she’s left 7 years back, every time he dreams of her, bad things happen....
Heavy Forecast (2) Episode 31 of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean Part II begins with the narrator discussing a tragic event in 1972, where a mother notices her baby die in her arms. The distraught mother exits her room. The mother switches her dead toddler with a living one and places her dead one next to another baby. Several years pass, and we find an aged Pucci sitting next to his fraternal twin’s gravestone with his family present....
The Murder House We begin episode 4 of JU-ON: Origins in 1995 with Yasuo greeting the child killer “M” in prison. He discusses his investigation about the strange house we’ve seen so much of in the past and how it’s connected to what’s happening at the moment. Meanwhile, a pregnant woman called Chie pours a glass of wine for her husband Keiichi and destroys his world, telling him she hasn’t been happy during any part of their marriage and confirms her baby is not his....
No Mercy Alongside The Stand by Stephen King, To Kill A Mockingbird is my favourite book. It remains the only novel I’ve thrown across the room in disgust and maintains a special place in my heart as the story that got me interested in writing, if only to try and capture that same raw emotion I felt thanks to Harper Lee. In a way, Just Mercy feels like a modern tribute to that book, with plenty of un-subtle hints and similarities in terms of structure and racist themes....
The End Episode 16 of Kairos begins with us hearing exactly what happened on that fateful phone call between Ae-Ri and Seo-Jin. It turns out Seo-Jin was on the phone to Ae-Ri for the final minute of his life before he plunged to his death. The audio recording he has was sent back to Ae-Ri in October before he died. Thankfully, his death was not in vain. This does, however, put both Ae-Ri and Seo-Jin from October in a tricky position as they need to leverage this evidence at an opportune moment....

The central character here is Kinn, the second son of the mafia who finds himself running into Porsche while trying to escape. A business deal goes awry and he only just survives. Porsche is a college student who works as a barman part-time. He’s an orphan, who single-handedly looks after his brother Chay, as well as being known as an underground boxer called The Phoenix....
The Child Auction House Leila picks up with episode 4 right where we left off from before with our big cliffhanger. Shalini pleads for her life and explains that she was only trying to help. She mentions that she has a package from Mr Dixit and in a bid to try and distract him, throws sand in Bhanu’s face and drives away. As she reaches the fertility clinic to find out more about her daughter, she sees a poster showing one of the fertility doctors who she recognizes as one of the men who came to kill her husband and kidnap Leila....

Sue reveals that Rose is the most important person in her life… just as we cut back to her looking over the photos of her and Chiang-Han together. Reeling from this heartbreaking revelation, Rose heads out into the club and locks eyes with Sue and helps herself to a drink. She throws shade at Sue with her speech, calling people “despicable” and cast side-eyed evils at her co-owner....

Hwa-young confesses that the 72 billion was embezzled by her and Sang-ha while In-joo was not to be blamed for it. She clarifies that In-joo did not even know about the money and alleges that Sang-ha manipulated her for 10 years in order for her own entertainment....
Episode 8 The long-awaited finale of Live On lands with Ho-Rang recalling the relationships she’s built with friends and how they’d given her strength to do the live broadcast (of Episode 7). She hugs Eun-Taek in relief but the peace doesn’t last. Their moderator is on the warpath over the unplanned programme and Jae-Yi is demanding Ho-Rang’s attention. Jae-Yi gives her a line-backer hug, in tears that Ho-Rang had kept it all to herself....
Siege Episode 5 of Locke and Key Season 3 starts with Nina asking Bode how Dodge’s body ended up under his bed. Bode throws some blatant lies about the Timeshift Key… and Nina seems to buy it. However, she remains suspicious over how her son ended up with a dead body under his bed. Meanwhile, Kinsey speaks to Tyler who remembers everything now. He doesn’t regret getting his memories back, admitting to her that he needs to understand and embrace the pain he’s been feeling to work through it, rather than just forgetting it all....
Wall New Hyeong-Seok helps Deok-Hwa, a similar kid to the old version of himself, and encourages him to continue his singing. It breaks the stigma at their school and breaks boundaries, allowing the pair to turn into good friends. Deok-Hwa meets the old Hyeong-Seok along with Jin-Ho. He finds kindship in them and they share their stories. They also talk about the amazing things the new Hyeong-Seok has done. Basco hears this though and realizes the truth of the new Hyeong-Seok....
There are a few things that ‘Love & Gelato’ does slightly differently than its peers. However, these twists are not “twists” in the cinematic context but deviations that are refreshing. Lina’s journey of self-discovery was more of an innate adventure, rather than a strict extrinsic feeling. Her mother wanted to go to Rome and meet Howard and understand that even if you meet the right person at the wrong time, it will not end well....
“Nothing Much Happens” Episode 3 of Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce) Season 2 begins with Song-Won talking to Ye-Jung about her plans for the future. She tests the girl, finding out where her loyalties and allegiances lie. Through her words Ye-Jung realizes she’s completely different to Hye-Ryung. Well, after their conversation Song Won heads to church and begins praying for the safety of her child. The Pastor there arrives to greet her though, promising that the Lord has blessed her with a child....
The Grey Areas Episode 3 of Love Alarm begins with Sun-Oh telling Jojo he didn’t send the pictures, just as Hye-Yeong arrives at the scene. He sees first-hand Sun-Oh’s phone blink on with a notification, prompting him to rush out the room, with Sun-Oh chasing after him. Interestingly, outside Hye-Yeong comes across a group of bullies beating up a boy who happens to be attracted to them – one of the downfalls with this digital app....
Not Just Wind, but a Typhoon Episode 8 of Love In The Air goes back in time to the night when Rain dropped by at the illegal race to meet Phayu making Sky tag along with him. Since Rain is occupied by a certain storm named Phayu, Sky is left alone with the guards growing suspicious of him. Prapai comes in to save the day for Sky and claims that the latter was his boy and the guards let him go....

Love On the Spectrum is one that stands out ahead of the pack. It’s a heartwarming, awkward and realistic look at the quest for love between autistic men and women. It’s worth noting though that this isn’t a wholly original idea – especially given the popularity of The Undateables in the UK....
