A Shocking Death Episode 14 of Lovers of the Red Sky returns to the Sealing Ceremony with Yangmyung making a big decision. He grabs the knife and stabs Ha-Ram in the back. With everyone watching on, brilliant white light protrudes from the demon and blasts Yangmyung back. Now, the divine sword that’s wedged in Ha-Ram’s back has done enough to reseal the demon back inside Ha-Ram, subsequently healing the fatal wound and stopping him from causing havoc across the palace....

Physiognomy of the Immortal Episode 9 of Lovers of the Red Sky begins outside Gyeongwon Pavilion as Ha-Ram seems to be possessed by the demon. After knocking Yangmyung down, it approaches Cheon-Ki, growling “You have my eyes.” However, the tiger spirit of Ho-Ryeong suddenly shows up and blasts the demon with brilliant white light. It’s enough to knock out Ha Ram, who ends up unconscious on the ground. The tiger, meanwhile, scurries away....

Singer/songwriter Mat Kerekes is a master lyricist and a man channelling his desires and strengths through his evocative songs. He knows how this works, and he knows the importance of well-structured tracks. His abilities are clearly on show on Nova, which is a collection of anecdotes, purposefully pushed into light. The songs here certainly have the melancholic treatment. They’re sombre takes and tracks which pinpoint sorrow and despair, while being wrapped in a musical coating....

Book III: Proverbs Episode 3 of Midnight Mass returns to the church after the eventful service and seeing Paul in the confessional booth. He reveals that Monsignor Pruitt is sicker than they thought and he’s been lying about his health. Pruitt has been suffering from a nasty bout of dementia and it’s only deteriorating further as every day passes. Paul has been lying for the town’s benefit, as Crockett Island witnesses a miracle....

The Real Mother Episode 10 of Mine begins with Hi-Soo warning Ji-Yong and forcing him out the apartment. She reminds him that this isn’t the way to resolve their issues. Besides, she wants to be the only one who can deal with Hye-Jin. When he leaves Ji-Yong confronts the fighter where he learns his brother isn’t actually dead. Ji-Yong refuses to help though, at least for now. Not long after, he finds out about the lawyer Hi-Soo is using....

Falling Apart Episode 10 of Money Heist: Korea starts two months before the break-in. Here, we see Woo-Jin first meet the Professor, who bumps into the rear of her car and then offers to take her out for coffee. He invites her along to his coffee shop, which happens to be Café Ciao Bella. Of course, this is a nod to the original series. And it is, of course, a deliberate ploy to bring Inspector Seon into his plan....

The Necklace Episode 14 of Mouse begins out in the fields as Moo-Chi calls for the killer to show himself. Unbeknownst to him, it’s Ba-Reum who’s hiding nearby. Our apple killer, Bong-Cheol, looks set to strike Hong-Ju but tells her he’s not happy about being dragged back into this. Ba-Reum grabs the killer and stops him. Fast forward to the present and the news are referring to Ba-Reum as the “Dark Hero....

Sun Ho’s Treachery After an action-packed episode, My Country: The New Age slows down slightly for a more subdued slice of drama, one that works on advancing the characters much more than the plot itself. Face to face, the episode picks up where it left off with Hwa and Sun-Ho looking set to fight until the General plunges his sword into Sun-Ho’s belly. Convinced they schemed together, the General fights Hwa before our protagonist fights him off and presumably kills him....

Disgusted, she drops 6 reasons for him to give up on the ground and walks away, calling Tommy a coward. Tommy’s decision not to kill himself is met with an interesting development when he heads back to his office....

With a simple, 10 hour narrative and a well paced story, Plague Tale backs up its compelling plot line with some cleverly evolving gameplay, with each of its deliciously dark chapters an absolute delight to play through. Created by a passionate team of 40 or so people, Plague: Tale Innocence is a reminder of what this medium can produce with a bit of creativity and passion, leaving this reviewer saddened when the journey ended....
