The Algorithm Is Real Westworld has always been a show about the mystery box and raising thought provoking questions within its plot. While both of these are advanced this week, against the backdrop of some psychedelic visuals and interesting but distracting musical cues, the big take-away within this noise comes from Serac and understanding his motives. With more clarity around exactly what he’s doing, and some eye opening flashbacks from his past, things come crashing down in a big way this week, paving the way for an exciting and unpredictable finish to this season....
Skeletons In The Closet Episode 11 of When I Was the Most Beautiful begins with Yeon-Ja revealing to Ye-Ji that the diagnosis for Jin may actually be wrong. Needing to know more, she asks what happened to Jin in the US. Apparently he was hidden away in a sanatorium and swam from his submerged car to shore. Yeon-Ja waves this away though, saying their bigger problems come from convincing Jin to undergo rehab again....
The Bad Boy Episode 2 of When I was the Most Beautiful change tactics slightly and instead double down on the melodrama. There’s lots of it too and as the episode progresses, we learn a lot more about the challenges facing our main characters. So far this Korean drama has got off to a gentle start and the relaxing momentum should be enough to carry anyone looking for a light, breezy watch....

The Speeding Ticket Bowing out the end of its second week, Woman of 9.9 Billion delivers a very strong episode here, one full of twists and tense moments as our accomplices continue their cat and mouse games, debating who will keep the money and what they will do with it. There were some tough scenes to watch too as we see how evil and manipulating In-Pyo is towards his wife which make us sympathize even more with Seo-Yeon....
