The Bride The Ghost Bride is almost certainly going to polarize fans of the books and potentially newcomers too. As a big fan of the book myself, The Ghost Bride distorts and changes large swathes of the original story, playing the romantic elements late on as the dominating, driving force of the show and in doing so, pushing a lot of the supernatural elements to the back-burner. For now though, the first episode introduces us to the elements that dominate a lot of the show, including the aforementioned romance, some J-Pop and slapstick humour that become staple parts of this six-part series....

However, comedy isn’t the central focus here, as this one plays out much closer to a murder mystery. Despite constantly failing his exam to become a 9th grade public official for 3 years, he remains defiant, constantly revising to try and pass....

The Witch Of Destruction The Misfit Of Demon Academy has a serious Mary Sue problem. Or in the context of this fantasy anime, an “Anos Sue” problem. The trouble with making an impossibly strong protagonist means you’re constantly asking a really important question – how do you defeat that which seemingly cannot be defeated? As someone who hasn’t read the source material I can’t comment on how closely aligned this anime is to the manga but there’s a definite sense that Anos is far too powerful and it’s difficult to see where the drama or tension will come from with his character....

The Orphanage Episode 8 of Penthouse Season 3 begins with Su-Ryeon worried after failing to hear from Seok-Kyung. She immediately speaks to Seok-Hoon and breaks the bombshell reveal to him about Seol-A and Seok-Kyung being siblings. Even worse, images have been manipulated to show Seok-Kyung at the airport and beyond. Only, there’s no shadow which Seok-Hoon failed to see originally. Now that he sees it, he suspects the worst. Seok-Kyung meanwhile, finds herself surrounded by women who look at her with murderous intent....

Chase quickly makes a new friend in the form of a guy called Aaron, who shows him around the office.
