The Wooden Elevator After last week’s dramatic finale, we return to Arthdal Chronicles this week right where we left off from before. Boasting some gorgeous artwork and a more politically charged narrative this time around, Arthdal does well to flesh out its world, even if it is a little difficult to keep up with all the different characters and clans at times. Still, the series is steeped in a rich dose of lore and as a real geek for fantasy epics, Arthdal Chronicles certainly scratches that itch left by other shows in this genre....
True Feelings Episode 10 of At A Distance, Spring is Green begins with Yeo Joon and his brother finally talking, revealing the truth out on a bridge about the abuse he suffered in the past. Joon-Wan and Yeo-Joon seem to have patched up their differences too, with Joon-Wan dropping his brother off at the Youth Villa and exchanging a pained smile. Back inside, Soo-Hyun quizzes Yeo Joon about his night and talk with Joon-Wan....
Two Brothers Episode 19 of Attack on Titan Season 4 starts with Galliard, the Jaw Titan, trying in vain to stop Eren. Unfortunately, he’s left a bloody mess after repeated blows to the back of the neck. Reiner jumps in though, holding Eren down while Zeke regains consciousness and starts to move. A Paris Promise Beautiful Love, Wonderful Life continues with its steady pace this week and just as we expected a big break-up between Cheong-Ah and Joon-Hwi, the latter is still torn and unable to go ahead with it as he’s overwhelmed by the kind nature of his girlfriend and his feelings for her. Cheong-Ah has so far been the most likable character in the show, adding some emotional depth to the story, and as this soapy Korean drama continues, more drama is brought to the foreground....
More Revelations With more truths out in the open, Beautiful Love, Wonderful Life brings us another strong episode full of shocking moments as both parents learn about Jin-Woo and Joon-Hwi. This is bound to create some serious repercussions for the family and I’m looking forward to see how this one unfolds in the weeks to come. The episode begins just as Cheong-Ah is stopping Si-Wol from hitting his boss while Yu-Ra watches on....
Lighten Our Darkness Episode 4 of Becoming Elizabeth starts at Cheshunt Manor. Elizabeth is still reeling from the events at Chelsea, as she tries to keep strong in the wake of her new company. Cheshunt Manor belongs to Kat’s brother-in-law Antony Denny. The mood is frosty, especially as Elizabeth reveals that she’s late and hasn’t had her period yet. She confides this news in Kat, who implores her not to say anything to anyone – especially her sister, Mary, or Lady Catherine....
A Patchwork Of Different Movies Below Zero is a film of two halves. The first sets up an intriguing and tense thriller for the second half to lean into, all guns blazing. With a prisoner VS guards scenario that looks set to explode at any moment, the midway point changes direction and starts to deliver a patchwork of influences for our characters to fight against. If you can look past some of the illogical scenarios, there’s a nice little Spanish guilty pleasure here....

Smashley Rose Episode 2 of Blindspotting begins with Miles’ trial. Despite believing he’s going to be out in a month, everyone here is about to get a serious wake-up call. Miles is sentenced to five years behind bars. Ashley, Trish and Rainey each try to come to terms with this, with Trish pretty much absent for the rest of the episode. Rainey’s road to recovery is the most annoying, in an overlong segment that sees her chanting and meditating....
